Zack grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduating from Elder High School in 2020 before continuing his baseball career at the University of Indianapolis. Over four seasons with the Greyhounds, he became a key contributor, posting a career .320 batting average with 10 home runs, 109 RBIs, and a .465 slugging percentage. As the starting first baseman during back-to-back College World Series appearances in 2023 and 2024, he set the program’s single-season walk record and stole 22 bases in his senior year.
During his collegiate career, Zack helped lead UIndy to three regional titles, two super regionals, and consecutive College World Series runs. These experiences taught him the preparation, consistency, and focus required to compete at a championship level. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis while balancing academics and athletics at a high level.
Zack now brings that experience to his role at Triple Play Training, where he works with hitters and infielders of all ages. His instruction focuses on helping each athlete find their swing identity and develop confidence at the plate. “My goal is to help kids figure out their swing and what type of player they are. Every hitter is different, and I don’t want anyone to be a robot. Truly diving into my swing and my style of play is what made my game sky rocket, and I want to help these kids find that aspect of their game."
